Hallow’s End 2017 is here and if you haven’t started gathering your tricky treats, now is the time. From October the 18th through November the 1st you get to celebrate Halloween, or Hallow’s End [when the Forsaken broke free from the Scourge] with your World of Warcraft friends. Those that have been playing WoW for a while know that if you haven’t gotten the Headless Horseman’s mount yet, now is the time to try to get it. Other than the mount, there’s a lot of exciting things going on during Hallow’s End and I’m going to share those with you.
For starters if you’re wanting to level any new toons or grind out any reputation, visit the bonfires in front of the Wickerman. The Wikermans can be found at the entrance of Stormwind City (Alliance) Unburdened and Undercity (Horde) Grim Visage. You will get a buff that increases your experience and reputation gained by 10% for 2 hours.
Up next, if you’re looking for just a little more edge in raids, complete the Headless Horseman event (putting out fires) in Goldshire, Kharanos, Dolanaar, and Azure Watch (Alliance); Razor Hill, Bloodhoof Village, Brill, and Falconwing Square (Horde). This event gives you a buff called Victory!Which is a slight increase in your main stats, and it seems to persist through raids.
New this year are two pretty cool costumes, Xavius (200 Tricky Treats) and the Horse costume (150 Trick Treat per part/2 person for Head and Tail).
There are tons of other costumes that can be purchased from Dorothy or Pippi (Alliance) and Chub or Woim (Horde). Some of them can also be contained in Handful of Treats (candy buckets and daily quests) and Loot-Filled Pumpkin(Headless Horseman).
The instant mount of the Magic Broom and Flying Broom are extremely nice for Mythic + dungeons and even World Quests. You can get the Flying Broom from doing the Headless Horseman Dungeon. While the Magic Broom comes from the Chest reward that you get from putting out fires in starting zones.
Last, but not least, take a very short time out of your day to que for The Headless Horseman. You can get a mount, 880 loot, cosmetic items, pets, costumes, and of course, tricky treats. This Hallow’s End there are tons of cosmetic items, toys, pets, and much more– so for a detailed guide, go here.
